Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: KY-CB-10
Station Name: Wilder 0.2 ESE
Report Date: 4/17/2024
Submitted: 4/17/2024 8:05 AM
Scale Bar: Moderately Wet
Description:
The ground is nearly saturated. The lawn is mushy. Water readily penetrates sneakers when walking on the grass, causing wet feet. The ground is extremely moist and soft. Pond level and stream flow above normal. Despite some fair weather days, April has been generally very wet so far. The Licking and Ohio Rivers are relatively high and just below flow stage. People cutting their lawns were having trouble with their lawn mowers jamming this last weekend. For an example, my next store neighbor took 3 hours just to cut their 190 X 210 foot yard even using their riding lawnmower, which kept jamming. The grass is growing vigorously. The vegetation is much more established than normal for this time of the year. For example, leaves on trees getting quite large. The oak trees are already having middle sized leaves.
