Nearly all of the hail in this storm was pea sized. Only a few hail stones were rice sized. If the trees had been leafed out more there might have been some minor leaf damage. A few blossoms on flowering shrubs were knocked off. This was a heavier storm than what we have been having in prior storms this spring. The ground is currently covered with approximately 0.3" of hail although some of it has started to melt. |
