The rain started: 1546 with a small bit of hail rice to pea size & rain. Hail Quit. Rain continued. More hail started at 1606 first pea size, then gradually got bigger and more fierce storm. Harder wind, and was coming from clouds S and SE, that formed over Tijeras pass and Manzanos and South Peak, and moved this way with T&L first. Still raining now. Appears to now be ~ 0.2" in gauge. Was ~ half that when I started writing. ground was almost white thru the hail. Piled up at south-facing garage door~ 2". I have pics. |
