Rice-sized soft hail started at the same time as rain. Changed to harder pea-sized after 15 min. Hard pea-sized hail fell for 2 to 3 min., then the soft rice-size hail for 2 min. more. Left 1/4 inch covering on bare ground, fence posts, etc. There was about as much rain as hail. |
