Notes: |
I wasn't awake for much of the storm, so I'm unsure of the times and duration. I didn't have a hailpad out. During the storm the ground was completely covered with hail, but much of it melted during the night and in the morning all the hail that remained was in 2" drifts which lasted about 2 days. Strong north wind accompanied the hail. Six miles east on the CO-NE line there was no hail. There may have been more leaf damage had there been more leaves. |
