I was not home, but my daughter noted info and collected stones. She reported that hail was accompanied by strong winds and loud noise. Larger stones over 1" diameter were soft and could not be collected. Smaller stones aroune 3/4 inch were harder. Dents on hail pad very interesting as some were nearly 2" across -- apparently caused by smaller stones that were "smooshing" on contact. Quite a tumult here, but not much damage |
